Disney Pixar Cars McDonald Collectables
McDonald Kids Meal Toys & Disney Work Together
With Walt Disney Studios as a partner Pixar Animation Studios have produced seven full length computer generated feature films, including Toy Story and Carsthemovie the most recent, released in June 2006. DISNEY PIXAR CARS MCDONALD COLLECTABLES have become one of the most popular Happy Meals Toys deals ever.
The McDonald Kids Meal toys are highly detailed and exactly capture the look and personality of each of the films lovable characters. There are nine in the complete set available and each one performs a different action. The collectibles are 1:50 scale and made of heavy duty plastic. They are suitable for young children, but judging by their scarcity at this time, some of the parents must be hoarding the full set of nine cars.
The quirky personalities of these little collectible cars really shine with the McDonald version. There are two editions of Lightning McQueen, a clean version and a dirty rendition. Although theoretically free with a Happy Meal, McQueen Clean is selling on ebay at present for around one dollar. Lightning McQueen Dirty sells for about the same price. Other websites show Clean McQueen as being hard to find, rare, or sold out with McQueen Dirty priced at $15.95 plus shipping. Both McQueen versions race and do wheelies.

McDonald’s Tow Mater can tow the other cars, has turning tires and a movable hitch. Ebay price ranges from $1.00 to $10.00 with few if any bids, while the other websites call Tow Mater as a sold out. Mater’s voice in the movie is done by Larry the Cable Guy.
Bright blue Sally Carrera will go in all directions and is prices at $12.95 at several websites. Ebay has several listings at $1.00. Sally’s voice is done by Bonnie Hunt.
Doc Hudson is an even brighter blue than Sally. You can wind it up and watch it travel. This car seems to be either sold out or priced at e-bay prices from $2.50 to $13.00. The voice of Paul Newman is a natural in the movie.
McDonalds had three versions of Ramone—a green, a purple and a yellow car, each of which bounces.
